
Mrs. Sandee’s class presented their petoskey stone unit of study at the Lakeshore Museum yesterday evening. Although their learning was awesome, their ability to articulate what they’d learned was most impressive. So proud!

4th grade students had a visit from the Lakeshore Museum Center this morning. Students learned about magnets, how they interact with the world around them, and how they can be used to solve every day problems.

On “Waste Free Wednesdays” Mrs. Sandee’s class encourages students to pack a waste free lunch with a goal of reducing Central’s contributions to landfills. Through recycling and composting, we’ve reduced the amount of garbage by 80% on Wednesdays from the cafeteria.

Our second graders rose to the challenge of collecting for Toys for Tots. Together, they were able to collect 82 items. As a district, we were able to donate 691 items!
