Central Family Read In is this Thursday, March 5th. Come join us in the library from 6:00-7:00 pm to kick off March Reading Month. Dress in pj’s and bring your own reading material. Hope to see you there!

At our recent PBL meeting, Mrs. Sandee presented new STEM opportunities at Central due to the arrival of a Sphero Bolt (pictured here) and Dribble Up Smart Ball. Both offer opportunities to infuse computer coding and robotics into daily lessons for student engagement to soar!

And a few more from the day. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Fox in Socks, Central rocks! One fish, two fish, red fish, blue...jello? Oh the places our kids will go!

Happy Read Across America Day! Keep reading at home, reading often, and celebrating with your child the joys of literature.

We’ve ‘blasted off’ with regards to recognizing and celebrating the many great things happening every day at Central. Thank you for partnering with us in reinforcing Respect, Pride, and Integrity at home. Thank you for raising great kids, and sharing them with us!

Liam M cashed in at the Rocket Shop to enjoy lunch with the principal. Meanwhile, Jace T chose to spend some time with Mrs Z and Mrs W as office assistant.

The week ended with a Rocket Way celebration of epic proportions. Hailey P pied Mr H and his brave shadow, Joslynn S added a layer of yellow silly string, Kenna S followed with cherry pie to Mr H and Mrs Birr, and Arion S finished things off with a dousing of blue silly string.

Principal shadows for the week included Lauren S, Alyssa M, and Lars L. They all crushed it in their own unique ways. Future leaders!

Pies O’ Plenty from Miss Nauta’s class as of late. Jeremiah G. launched a Cherry pie at the principal last week, and Vivianna T. capped things off today with Lemon Meringue!

Thank you to Sheriff Poulin, Undersheriff Sanford, and LT. Smith from the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department for coming in to read to our Kinders today.

A chilly but super fun night spent together as an R-P community at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex! Special thanks to those who organized this year’s Rocket Family Night!

Central DK teamed up with RPEL’s DK and spent the day in Ludington at Sandcastles Children’s Museum to kick off the Exploring Museums unit!

Come out to Rocket Family Night at the Winter Sports Complex and help raise money for Rocket Athletics - Feb 20 @ 5pm - Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/events/2921498007907770/

Mrs. Birr’s class visited 4th grade today to hear the Choose Your Own Ending stories written by students in Mrs. Langlois’s class.

Despite the recent gray skies, The Rocket Way has been on full display. Evan Barrone and Dwyer Keefe shadowed the principal, Oliver Olson served as office assistant, and Leah Bennett had lunch with principal. So proud!

More from 100th day!

100 days wiser, stronger, more creative, and more confident!

Rocket Way winners for the months of December and January enjoyed ice cream, popcorn, and Rocketoons in the library!

More pictures from last night’s petoskey stone presentation. Again, great job kids!
