Hi sports fans! Our football game today has been postponed, due to inclement weather in the area. MHSAA guidance stated that due to Grand Haven being in school on Friday we were only allowed to delay tonight's contest for 1.5 hours.
Administration from both schools met and agreed to strive to conclude our game tomorrow, Friday 8/25. We do not yet have a time, due to a need to secure officials. Stay tuned for updates.

R-P Football’s receiving core and running backs are getting a ton of attention....
They are really good and deserve all of that attention. One group that is
guaranteed to be prepared and to play with a passion/love for their team and their
position group is the offensive line. This is in large part because of the passion and
love that Coach Gary Niklasch coaches with. Coach is ALWAYS there for his
athletes. He is always prepared, he always brings the energy, and loves all of the
boys that he coaches. According to Coach Kater, "Coach Niklasch deserves all of
the credit he is given and then some, for not only Reeths-Puffer Football but
Reeths-Puffer athletics. Coach is a selfless individual that is a pillar in so many of
the athletes' lives. A true guide to our athletes and many others walking the halls.
He holds many roles in our program, he can be counted on to always be organized
through watching film, seeking out the small details to improve in, all while
modeling how to live with the right conviction. Reeths-Puffer Football (and
community) is lucky to have Coach Niklasch."
According to Senior offensive lineman Brooks Johnson, "Transitioning from a new
position from wide receiver to tackle, Coach acknowledged that I probably
wouldn't have much knowledge about playing left tackle. So Coach took me aside
and taught me steps and techniques to block the guy in front of me. Coach is very
personable and knows football like the back of his hand, he takes the time to get to
know us not only as athletes but as people and lets our group of offensive linemen
be ourselves."
Thanks for being such an awesome Rocket Coach!
