Pretty special moment in Rocket City. Paige (Eastern Michigan, golf) Liam (Western Michigan, Soccer), and Jaxson (Ferris State, basketball) all signed their National Letters of Intent today. All three life-long Rockets, k-12. Rocket City is so proud of you!
Well said Momma! Liam Rocket City is so proud of who you are. Amazing and deserved recognition, offensive player of the year and runner up in the Mr. Soccer voting for the state of Michigan. Woah!
Welcome Coach Josh Robidoux as the Head Lacrosse Coach at Reeths-Puffer. Coach has quickly immersed himself into the fabric of Rocket City. Coach has had a profound impact on the culture of our community, leading his students in inquiry in his classes, bringing a passion and energy to the home varsity football games as our "game-day DJ," and his desire to grow our yearbook program. Coach will bring this same passion for Rocket-City and his athletes to the Lacrosse program. We look forward to instant and sustained growth with Coach Robidoux leading Reeths-Puffer Lacrosse.
Josh Robidoux is excited to step into the role of Head Coach for the Varsity Lacrosse team this season. Coach Robidoux attended Reeths-Puffer for his entire K-12 education, later pursuing his undergraduate at Michigan State University. Last year, Coach Robidoux accepted a position teaching English at the High School and has been an assistant coach for the RP Varsity Lacrosse Team for the past two years. He has loved the chance to get to know the players and thanks them for their continued efforts in the program. His passion for lacrosse started in high school when he started playing his Sophomore year, and his love for the sport has only grown since. He loves coaching because it gives him an opportunity to connect with athletes and push them to see the power of teamwork, camaraderie, and striving toward a shared vision of success. Finally, Coach Robidoux wants to express his gratitude to those who have helped mold and develop the program since its inception. He's excited for a hard-working, fast-paced, and fun season!
Huge news for Liam Smith! Liam has been named to the 2023 Michigan High School Soccer Dream Team. Liam will be in Troy tomorrow with the other 10 Dream Team Members as the offensive and defensive player of the year along with Mr.Soccer is crowned. Paige Anderson, the face/heart and soul of Reeths-Puffer Girls Golf has found a place to call home after R-P. Eastern Michigan University is beyond lucky to have Paige in their program. Paige is has incredible golf skills, is a phenomenal student, and is an even better person.
Congratulations to Travis Ambrose on his commitment to Central Michigan University. Travis is an incredible young man who will and has had a positive impact on all who cross paths with him. Rocket City is so proud of who you are Travis.
All tickets for the district semifinal football game at Mona Shores must be purchased using GoFan. Kickoff time is 7:00pm Friday the 27th. A frustration point for some have been those that have taken screenshot of the tickets, you must have the tickets loaded onto your phone through the AP or email. Great night to be a Rocket 🚀 the culture here is amazing. 14-12 win over a very good Zeeland West. Regular season record 7-2 and playoff bound. We find out who and where we play Sunday Night.
If you don't have any plans tonight come on out to Rocket Stadium and help us honor some amazing young people.
Prior to kickoff we will be celebrating all seniors in the band and on the football and cheer teams.
Our youngest Rocket Football Players will run out on to the field with the varsity team.
AND we will celebrate all Fall athletes at halftime.

Ladies and gentleman… The 2023 Greater Muskegon Area men’s cross country champions! Led by Jaxson Allen as the individual champion and medalists Kye Grant and Tate Bradley. The lady Rockets had an incredible showing too, top 3 as a team. Great to be a Rocket 🚀

Your 2023 OK Green conference co-champions! The lady Rockets won the 2023 OK Green Conference Invitational today. This gave the Rockets a share of the conference championship. Three Rockets earned medals for the all conference team today and all conference honors for their entire body of work this season. Junior Rowan Bluhm and Freshman Sophia McCullom earned all conference and all tournament honors. Paige Anderson won the medalist honors with a score of 72 today and earned most outstanding golfer for the season. Well done ladies.
