The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income households. If your household is eligible, you can receive:
>Up to a $50/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals
>A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
The FCC has announced that consumers can begin applying for and enrolling in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program on May 12, 2021. The program will end when the fund runs out of money, or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency, whichever is sooner.

Number One Teacher
by Joanna Fuchs
I’m happy that you’re my teacher;
I enjoy each lesson you teach.
As my role model you inspire me
To dream and to work and to reach.
With your kindness you get my attention;
Every day you are planting a seed.
Of curiosity and motivation
To know and to grow and succeed.
You help me fulfill my potential;
I’m thankful for all that you’ve done.
I admire you each day and I just wanted to say,
As a teacher, you’re number one!

We so appreciate our teachers! They have been flexible and have learned on the fly this school year. They have operated a "one room school house", making sure that the kids are safe and everything is super clean. Please help show your appreciation by encouraging your kids to participate in these fun "at home" activities.

Good Morning Families~ Just a friendly reminder to keep your child home if they are experience any symptoms that mimic Covid symptoms, and check in with your child's doctor. It's challenging to distinguish between the two and it's best to be safe. Thank you so much for your understanding!

How do we LOVE and APPRECIATE our teachers? Let’s count the ways! Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Be on the lookout for a list of fun little at home projects your child can do to show their teacher a little love. More to come! 💛

Support our students and help them gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed. We’re looking for individuals to serve as AmeriCorps members this summer (June 14 - August 14) with Michigan Education Corps Summer Corps. Learn more and apply at https://bit.ly/MECsummer20.
