Hello parents!
As we continue to battle the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to reach out to you and provide resources that we felt might be useful to you in the days and weeks ahead. As everyone’s situation is different, we are providing a “blanket level” of resources. Please know that if you have a need that is not addressed here, you can always dial 2-1-1 for available resource information in Muskegon county.
Stay safe!

School is open, only the building is closed! Parents and students, be sure to check your email about next week. We miss you!
All of the RPMS teachers “met” at some point today to start problem solving. While details of the next step our governor will take are still somewhat unknown and we can’t solve all of the problems right now, we definitely can rally together to come up with the best plan to progress learning for our students. Growth mindset is not just for students as many of the adults are finding new ways to do business. We will share more soon. We’re all in this together!

Rocket Parents,
Reeths-Puffer Schools wants to ensure that our students are prepared and equipped for distance learning for the remainder of the school year. We want to identify families with/without home internet service and students with/without a device.
The district has 2200 chromebooks that we can loan out to students in need. Please fill out the survey (see link below) so we can begin addressing the needs of our families and best utilize the district’s resources.
If you have multiple children attending Reeths-Puffer Schools please fill out the survey once for each student.

Parents and Guardians-
A message went to parents by e-mail yesterday, but two key points are below:
-Link to some at home learning resources:
https://docs.google.com/…/1Fudf1oNkOy-IPYJpWhgoLxc1HIK…/edit
-The building will be open 10-1:00 TODAY (3/17/20) if there are any items that need to be picked up, including medications. A parent/guardian must have identification to pick up all medications. If this time does not work for you, please e-mail andersonj@reeths-puffer.org to set up a different time.
Thank you for your partnership.
Yearbook order forms went home with students today. Orders are due in the office before May 1st. Yearbooks are only $8.00. There are not extras ordered. Be sure to get one.
The RPMS Glow Dance was a hit. Students had fun and made some great memories While also helping our students raise some money for their Washington DC trip. Thank you to all of the adults and student leaders that made it happen. Great job!
A small group of our 8th grade students from Calling All Colors got to attend camp earlier this week. The goal of the camp was to grow the skills of the students to be able to use their voice even more to positively impact our world. It is so exciting to watch their leadership grow and we can’t wait to see the impact they will have.
Only 2 days until our first ever Glow in the Dark dance. Think black lights, disco ball, glow sticks, body paint, and an official DJ. The cost is $3 with a free glow stick bracelet. Snacks and additional glow items will be available for purchase. The Dance is Friday, March 6th from 6-8 pm. Dress for the glow party! Exact change at the door is appreciated. The event is a fundraiser for our students traveling to Washington D.C.
A group of our student leaders are working in Rocket Reach Out to plan a TicToc contest and presentation around making healthy choices and not vaping. The creativity and collaboration of this group is awesome. Look for contest details soon!
