Parents- we were just thrown another hurdle and our Internet is not working. It seems to be an issue beyond just our building and we are working to get it fixed quickly. If your conference got cut off, we will reach out as soon as we are able.
This picture right here says it all! In an ideal world, most of us would not choose to go to distance learning, but we can choose to be prepared. Some of our students have their phone alarms set and ready to go for learning tomorrow. Isn't this great thinking? This is a reminder that if you have not signed up for parent teacher conferences yet, we still have openings on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Conferences will be held virtually and when you sign up you will get a Google meet link to click on at your conference time.

With a new marking. Starting today, some of our students got to enjoy something new. Here are a few pictures from Art and the beautiful day outside in PE.
Our semester electives have ended and some students will be starting a new elective on Monday. There is really no better way to end the day than to watch middle school theater students award and celebrate each other. The teachers got to celebrate the end and provide some closure, but the recognition from one middle school student to another is magical.

Making claims, supporting with evidence, making predictions, communication, collaboration, data collection, and representing data visually are just some of the skills that go beyond the exact topic students are learning.
Learning went on as normal, but we just looked a little different. From bowls of cereal to flower children, the costumes were so creative and showed so much personality.

A big rocket three to our rocket slip winners this week. Great job showing respect, pride, and integrity.
Teachers have been brainstorming and taking the input from students to plan ways that make it even easier for students to distance from each other during passing time. This week, many students participated in a “Rockets On The Loose” scavenger hunt and Ethan and Lola were the winners for the week. Also, many students are joining the outdoor space and fresh fresh air.
Math in action.....Students are using tools with different levels of precision to calculate measurement error and express it as a percentage of the actual length.
