Band- Congratulations to our 8th Grade Marching Band participants for their accomplishments at Jenison High School over the weekend. The Rocket Band took first place and won all captions in their flight.

Students in the Calling All Colors Group had the opportunity to experientially learn about the impact of racism on individuals and communities by participating in the "Archie Bunker's Neighborhood" activity today. It was a fun interactive experience.

Boys Basketball Tryouts - Attention 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball. Try-outs begin Monday, October 18th from 3:00-5:00 in the gym.

A Reminder to Choir & Theatre Arts Students:
-All choir & theatre classes will be held in the gym today.
-The combined Tech Rehearsal will be during 5th and 6th hour, also in the gym.
Cross Country - The Rocket cross country teams competed in their final conference meet last night. The JV girl’s team took 5th place overall taking down some STRONG competitors. The varsity ladies took 7th place out of 15 teams defeating some stiff competition that beat us early in the season. Jersi Bilek brought home some hardware taking 11th place overall. Setting personal records for the girls were Sophia McCollum, Darcy Keefe, Bella Cole, Keeley Cole, Jocelyn Wynsma, Ava Turnage, and Julia Darling. Every single boy set a new personal record!
