John Ball Zoo visits 4th grade! In fourth grade World Language the next unit of study is endangered species. John Ball Zoo has a traveling live animal exhibit. Students get to learn about specific animals and even get to touch a few of them. We had a Whistling Duck, Wood Turtle, Eastern Tiger Salamander, Tenrec, Spotted Turtle, American Toad and Eastern Screech Owl.

RPEL students raised $411.00 for the Sailor Salute. Our school had a hat day, lemonade sale and a pop can drive. Go Rockets!
Buddy Rocks! Our therapy dog Buddy was adopted from the Humane Society. He is one of two therapy dogs at RPEL. He is being interviewed today by the Humane Society, they have entered a contest for dogs that have been adopted. Buddy has positively impacted our students in a multiple ways. Good luck Humane Society, we hope that you win!
