Rain couldn't dampen the spirits and fun for our Walk-a-thon. Many families turned out to walk and celebrate our raising over $8000 for our hoop house. Thanks to all of our kids who were able to seek out donations, we exceeded our expectations! The hoop house raising will take place on Saturday, October 19th and we couldn't be more excited.
Thanks, too, to our amazing PTO moms for helping to plan the day and cook the hot dogs. And, six of our crazy and spirited teaching teammates jumped into Twin Lake to celebrate our reaching our goal this year! The kids who were able to raise $100 got to spray Mrs. Schmitt with silly string, too!
Other thank yous go out to the Hobby's for donating their time and the use of their pontoon, Kathy Woodruff for opening the county park and donating the soda and to the Twin Lake community for donations, treats and support along the walking route.
