GE Aviation is a world leading provider of commercial, military, business and general aviation engine components. Nearly fifty students were given a tour of both Norton campuses, learned about career opportunities(in a variety of areas beyond production floor), heard about continuing education opportunities, like tuition reimbursement (even for education/training unrelated to manufacturing or engineering) and heard about the skills that are needed in the world of work. Students even heard from past RPHS 2015 graduate, Eric Ream, who shared his own career path, the steps he has taken to get there, and how GE Aviation is covering the cost of the remainder of his engineering degree while he is working there.
