It is always tough to go into Muskegon and handle the full court pressure; however, the 7th grade Rockets decided to win with defense as they took in a nice road victory. Lauren Slater, Kayleigh Brown and Mariyana Spears did a superb job with closing gaps while Raquel Walker added some tough defensive rebounding. Addison Mitchelson drew a tough assignment all night on defense while matching up with their biggest threat. Zoey Smith and Allissym Storck made a few great hustle plays as well. Leading the offense was 21 points from Walker and fifteen from Mitchelson. Next up for the young Rockets is a huge test against West Ottawa on Wednesday.
