The 7th grade Lady Rockets enjoyed success in their first home game in a Rocket jersey and did a great job playing as a team. Despite some struggles on the defensive end of the court, the girls continued to out hustle the visitors from Jenison who did a superb job rebounding to get easy put backs. On the offensive end, it was a balanced scoring attack led by thirteen points from Raquel Walker and a dozen from Addison Mitchelson. Zoey Smith hit a big three pointer to run her total up to five points while Marley Church found her shot in the second half with four points. Rounding out the scoring were big buckets from Addison Whitaker, Aiva Kass and Lauren Slater. Next up for the Rockets is cross-town rival Muskegon.
