The 7th grade Rockets forgot to take the lid off of the basket against the Falcons of EK Valleywood. Thankfully, they brought a defense that generated offense. Twenty-six team steals, led by Madison Reichert’s and Grace Tindall’s seven apiece, produced some early points as the offense allowed to settle down from a sloppy start. Ashlyn David’s dominance on the boards ensured victory as she grabbed eleven total. Seven of the eight healthy Rockets got into the scoring column as Tindall paved the way with eleven while David was hit on her heels with nine. Charitee Jones and Makenzie Jacobs both contributed six as Jaslynn Kops added a pair of buckets with four. Gracie Callendar and Reichert rounded out the scoring as RP coasted to the win.
