On Wednesday the 8th grade lady Rockets traveled to Grand Haven to take on the lady Bucs. The game was a back and forth game. Grand Haven took a half time lead of 12 to 8. The lady Rockets came out of halftime and played some of their best basketball of the year. The Rockets executed their plays and took the lead back from the Bucs. The fourth quarter was back and forth until a couple of defensive break downs and two lay ups by the Bucs gave them a 6 point lead. The Rockets then turned up the pressure and cut the lead to 2 with one minute to play. Unfortunately, that was as close as the team could get as two late free throws by the Bucs sealed the Rockets fate. The final score was Grand Haven 31 and RP 27.
