Against an injured but talented Jenison squad, the 7th grade Rockets pulled away in the second half to defeat the host Wildcats. A 16-0 run to start the second half provided a big boost of confidence in the girls as they continue to show improvements. Grace Tindall led all scorers with a dozen points to go along with seven steals. Ashlyn David had four points and led the team in rebounds with seven while Ella Voorhies and Charitee Jones each had four points as well. Braylee Trepanier, Gracie Callendar and Makenzie Jacobs each had timely buckets as well. The big headline should be the stellar defense and dominance on the boards. Those areas were a huge team win for the game goals.
