The Rocket Girls Track Team closed out their season last night as they traveled to Jenison for the MKO Conference Meet where they competed against the best of the best from 16 other schools. 7th place finishers for the Rockets were: Mallorie Messer in the 70 meter dash and Adrienne Fluette in the long jump. 6th place finishers for the Rockets were: Mya Swain in the shot put, and Savannah Lockwood, Melana Johnson, Kiera Ketner, and Jenna Terpstra in the 400 meter relay. 5th place finishers for the Rockets were: Ashley Bradley in both the 55 and 200 meter hurdles, Lainey McDaniel in the 100 meter dash, Jersi Bilek in the 200 meter dash, and Savannah Lockwood, Kiera Ketner, Chloe Brainard, and Ella Siembida in the 800 meter relay. 4th place finishers for the Rockets were: Mallorie Messer in the 55 meter hurdles, and Maddy Smith in the 100 meter dash. 2nd place finishers for the Rockets were: Maddy Dyer in the high jump, Jersi Bilek in the 800 meter run, Savannah Lockwood in the 200 meter dash, and Maddy Smith, Amani Starr, Mallorie Messer, and Lainey McDaniel in the the 400 meter relay. And your 1st place finishers and conference champions for the Rockets were: Maddy Smith, Lainey McDaniel, Ellery Berndt, and Jersi Bilek in the 1600 meter relay. Great Job Girls!! Also qualifying for the conference meet and running their personal records were: Addison Eek, Krystina Pagel, and Maya VandenBosch. Great Job and great season girls!!
