RP 8th Grade Lady Rockets take advantage of one last opportunity!
In a season full of uncertainty, the 8th grade Lady Rockets knew one thing for certain. They knew they were not guaranteed the "next day" and to take full advantage of any opportunity that they were granted. The Lady Rockets took full advantage of every opportunity this year including their last opportunity to play at home last night. The Rockets played host and defeated East Kentwood Crestwood by a score of 39-19. The team took charge from the start by jumping out to a 15 to 3 lead after the 1st quarter. East Kentwood tried to mix up defenses against the Rockets but the team did a great job of executing all night. A big 3rd quarter sealed the victory for the Lady Rockets. The team ended the season with a record of 6 and 6. The team will celebrate their season with a pizza party after school today.
