Rockets lose a close one to GH Gold
The 8th grade lady Rockets traveled to Grand Haven to play Grand Haven Gold last night. The game started off in RP's favor as they took a 13-8 lead after the first quarter. The 2nd and 3rd quarter were not as friendly for the Rockets as Grand Haven outscored them 26 - 10 in those 2 quarters. Down 11 going into the 4th quarter the lady Rockets showed a lot of grit and determination as they battled back to within 1 point with less than 2 minutes to go. The Rockets then just missed on a scoring opportunity to take the lead. Grand Haven sealed the victory with 2 late baskets. Coach Pallett is proud of the effort by the team.
