Coach Pallett forgets to take pictures, so here is one from the stellar win against Hamilton since Zeeland wasn’t as kind to the Rockets.

Bus-lag Dooms the Mighty Rockets

The Rockets left their game at home as they fell behind 22-1 in the first half. After resetting and realizing that they have the ability and know-how, the regrouped Rockets ended up making things interesting down the stretch. A well-executed offense led by team discipline and Emma Lamphere’s ten points drew the game closer. A huge three-pointer by Amani Starr got the crowd back into it as well. Defensive assignments forced several Dux turnovers as Hope Latsch gleaned three steals and Mallorie Messer hauled in a whopping six. Chloe Parker held her own on the boards as she paced the team in rebounding. Unfortunately, the girls simply ran out of time against a very tough Zeeland squad. Hopefully, the momentum is still rolling as the Rockets travel to Hudsonville tomorrow to continue the improvement tour.
