Kye Grant WINS the City Meet!
It was a spectacular weekend in Rocket City, the Grant Brothers - Kye in 8th grade and Klay in 10th grade WON both the Middle School and High School City Meet! Kye set a new course record and is the fastest middle schooler in the city with a time of 10:20 for the short 2 mile race!!! Jamie Neel also received a medal for finishing 5th he was followed by Gage Bouwman, Dylan Sturr, Cory Judd and Connor Andersen. Hunter Alviar led the Rockets for the Jv race, right behind him was Landon Frazier and Ben Kunnen.
The Lady Rockets had their entire varsity team finish in the top 25! Leading for the Rockets was Ellery Berndt with her fastest time of 13:26 for the slightly short 2 mile race. Right behind Ellery was the entire team; Grace Tindall, Jersi Bilek, Sophia McCollum, Hope Latsch, Gracie Callender and Darcy Keefe! Adrienne Fluette led the JV Rockets with a 3rd place finish!!! She was followed by Bella Cole, Ha'nna Alviar, Mallorie Messer, Harper Mills, Julia Darling, Avery Luna, Olivia Smith, Mylie Neel, Avery Cooper and Bell Pumfery!
This was an unusual season but we had an amazing time! Nice work ROCKETS - your community is very proud!
