The 8th grade Lady Rockets took on Grandville last night at home. The Rockets played tough against the Bulldogs and won 1 of the 3 games in the match. Every game was super tight and the girls played really well under pressure. The scores were 23-25, 25-23, and 11-15. Serving tough for the Rockets were Grace Darke with a 9 point serving streak in game 1, Maddilyn Dyer with a 5 point serving streak with 2 aces and 4 point serving streak with 2 aces in game 2 and Mya Swain with a 5 point serving streak with 4 aces, also in game 2. Ella Siembida put down 2 balls for kills in game 1 and Chloe Brainard had a kill in game 2. Hanna Potts defended the net and had a block in game 2. The Rockets will host their home quad at RPHS on Saturday. Let’s go, Rockets!
