The 8th grade football team battled Muskegon last night and came away with a victory 24-20. Scoring on their first drive of the game was Elliott Schneider with a touchdown run. The Rockets trailed 13-7 at halftime. Ethan Muskovin scored on a touchdown run to get the Rockets within one 13-12. Elliott Schneider caught a touchdown pass from Drew Brooks to make the score 20-18. On the next position, Elliott Schneider intercepted a Muskegon pass and took it to the house to secure the victory 24-20. Their record improves to 1-1. Great team effort from everyone! Great job guys!
