The 7th-grade Rockets took on the Sailors of Mona Shores yesterday in the rain. The Rockets came out flat leading to a 20-0 deficit in the second quarter. A few nice carries from Callahan Millis capped by a touchdown run by TaCarri Rule lead to a halftime score of 26-7. The Rockets continued to fight hard in the second half which included some standout defensive plays by Landen Wagner, Owen Ritsema, and Jacob Rozycki. An additional touchdown by Rule and an extra point from Millis ultimately lead to a 38-14 final score. While the Rockets didn't come out victorious, there were many bright spots within the game to build on for next week. GO Rockets!
