The 8th grade team traveled to Grand Haven High School for a quad against Grand Haven Gold, Grand Haven Blue, and Hudsonville-Riley. The girls started out strong with a win against Grand Haven Gold. The scores were 25-20 and 25-4. Against Grand Haven Blue, the girls battled tough but ended up losing to the Buccaneers with scores of 19-25 and 21-25. The Rockets lost their final match against Hudsonville-Riley with scores of 12-25 and 15-25. Leading the Rockets for the day was Alissa Klopp with 5 kills and 2 blocks, Ella Siembida and Hanna Potts each with 2 kills, and Madison Snyder, Chloe Brainard, and Maddilyn Dyer each with 1 kill. The Rockets play at West Ottawa on Tuesday. Let’s go, Rockets!
