On Wednesday night, the 8th-grade Rockets forced a shutout at Fruitport with a 42-0 victory over the Trojans. The stellar defense had 7 sacks with Tanner Cowles, Garrison Niklasch, Paul Smith, Troy Swingley, Tanner Nash, and Art Williams playing strong.

There were 6 different Rockets that found their way to the endzone. The team began their night of scoring with a 95-yard kick return touchdown by JaMichael Williams. Fullbacks had a big night adding 2 scores by Aiden Neal and Artis Williams. Paul Smith had a 50-yard scoop and score on the Defensive side of the ball. Jaxon Lee had a receiving touchdown thrown by Cole Piper, while Piper added a rushing touchdown to the team's scoring column.
