The Reeths-Puffer 8th grade boys won Wednesday night against Byron Center with the help of their mighty defense by the score of 18-12. Paul Smith helped big for the Rockets with both a blocked kick and a blocked punt to help put the Rockets in great field position. Tanner Cowles, Troy Swingley, Garrison Niklasch and Paul Smith all recorded a sack in the competition. Your Rocket offense led by Cole Piper had 3 scores on the night. Cole Piper scored on a QB Sweep, Garrison Niklasch scored with an up-the-middle run and a passing score to JaMichael Williams in the back of the endzone.
