Middle School:
On Monday evening, the middle school track team traveled to Grand Haven to compete in their last regular season dual meet.
Leading the way for the girls team were Addison Mitchelson in the 70m dash, Raquel Walker and Addison Mitchelson in the 100m dash, Zoey Smith in the 200m dash, Darcy Keefe in the 400m dash, Sophia McCollum and Gabrielle Chavez in the mile, and Gracie Callendar in the 200m hurdles.
Scoring points for the boys team were Brayen Sorenson in the 200m dash, Eastin Roberts and Kyron Novak in the 400m dash, Evan McCollum in the mile, Rodney Walker and Brayen Sorenson in the 55m hurdles, both with a personal record, Lyric Stewart in the 200m hurdles, and the 4x100m relay team of Rodney Walker, Artis Williams, Landon Howland, and Lyric Stewart, Artis Williams in shot put, and Ethan Dyer in long jump.
Sixth Grade:
The sixth graders on the Middle School Track Team competed at Grand Haven Middle School Monday.
Evan McCollum took 2nd place in the mile.
Heaven Oakes and her 4x100 relay team took second place.
Jailynn Zuniga got a personal record in the 200m dash.
