The Rockets were very slow off of the bus after a long trip to Hamilton. It took a while to get things going despite executing and playing quite well. The buckets just didn’t seem to fall the right way early on. The dozen points from Raquel Walker along with seven points apiece from Addison Mitchelson and Lauren Slater fell just short of putting the Rockets on top of the Hawkeyes. Solid team defense put them right into the game down the stretch with Aiva Kass hitting a huge shot to make it a one possession game with two minutes to play. Sadly, that was all the points the girls could muster. Next up is a home rematch with the rivals from Muskegon.
