The Reeths-Puffer boys bowling team had a good night on Wednesday, posting a convincing 26-4 victory over Grand Rapids Union.

The Rockets swept the contest, winning both baker games to take a 10-point lead, then winning both regular games.

R-P won the first regular game 758-732, gaining four points. Three Rockets won their individual matchups – Quinn Alderink, Liam Copenhaver and Tanner Bahr – earning their team another three points.

The Rockets won the second regular game 725-677, gaining another four points, while getting individual wins from Alderink (who bowled a 222), Colin Wozny and Ryleigh Beebe for another three points.

Reeths-Puffer also collected two points for winning the overall pin count in both regular games, 1,453-1,409.

“All the boys did a lot better,” said R-P Coach Dan Kammers. “Their progress is stepping up and I’m liking what I’ve seen. All the boys clicked and got the job done.”
