Last week was a double-championship week for the Reeths-Puffer girls golf team.
On Tuesday the Rockets established their local superiority by winning the annual Greater Muskegon Athletic Association tournament.
On Friday they kept their 18-hole tournament momentum going by beating 14 other teams and cruising to the title at their own Rocket Invitational at Lincoln Golf Course.

The Rockets finished with a score of 365, 10 strokes better than second-place East Grand Rapids, which came in at 375. The rest of the top five consisted of Jenison (377), Forest Hills Northern (400) and Mona Shores (401).
The Rockets won the event with a balanced attack.
Senior Sophia McCollum, who won the GMAA individual title on Tuesday, and senior Olivia Ambler both shot an 85 and tied for fourth place.
Senior Ella Voorhies shot a 93, freshman Abby Davis shot a 103 and junior Kayleigh Brown shot a 106.

"It has been quite a week for us," said R-P head coach Matt Pallett. "Sophia was disappointed with her score, but she played a lot of really solid golf. There were just a few bad holes. Others stepped up today to help lead us to victory.
"Olivia Ambler has been playing some really good golf as of late. Ella and Abbey closed their rounds off strong today, which was a key to the victory.
"Tala Johnson had a great round and Kayleigh Brown keeps working hard. We are peaking at the right time as a team."
