The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team really hit its pace on Saturday, winning all four of its matches at the Whitehall Invitational.
The Rockets got rolling with a 25-19, 25-21 victory over Whitehall. They also had straight set wins over Shelby (28-26, 25-21) and Kent City (25-11, 25-20).
R-P had to battle to beat Newaygo, winning the first set 25-19, dropping the second 23-25, then winning the tie-breaker 15-7.

Lexie Danz and Peyton Radel led the R-P offense with 36 and 26 kills, respectively. Elsie Howard served nine aces while Leah Zuniga had eight.
Kate Tindall was once again the playmaker with 93 assists on the day.
Defensively, Zuniga had 35 digs, Addison Whitaker added 27 and Addison Deiters had 18.
“It was a really great day for us!” said R-P{ head coach Syann Fairfield. “The girls improved each rally throughout the day, learning, growing, and continuing to see all of the great things they can do!

“Kate Tindall had a great day leading our offense. We had lots of hitters with a great number of kills, and it’s really exciting having a well-rounded offense!
"Leah Zuniga paced us with digs and Addison Whitaker was not too far behind. That helps us stay in the long rallies and allows our offense to get going.”
The Rockets, now 13-8-3 on the season, will host Byron Center in an O-K Green conference match on Tuesday.
