The Reeths-Puffer boys soccer team continued its recent upward trend with a 3-1 victory over Grand Rapids Northview on Saturday.
The Rockets improved their overall record to 4-3-1 on the season. They are 3-1-1 in their last five games.
R-P’s Evan McHugh stole the ball and scored less than a minute into the game, giving the Rockets a very early edge.

Northview tied the game on a free kick about midway through the first half, then R-P’s London Carpenter scored on a breakaway, with an assist from Aaron Perez, and the Rockets let 2-1 at halftime.
Kam David nailed down the win by scoring with about three minutes left in the contest, with an assist from Landon Nash.
Reeths-Puffer had an 8-7 advantage in shots on goal.
The Rockets will return to action on Tuesday with a non-conference game at Cedar Springs.
