Reeths-Puffer’s Kristian Brown has secured his final spot among the top golfers in the O-K Green conference.

Brown, a senior soon to collect his diploma, shot an 81 and finished ninth in the individual standings at Thursday’s conference championship tournament at Muskegon County Club.

Brown, who birdied three holes over the course of the day, earned an “All Tournament” medal for finishing in the top 10, as well as All-Conference honorable mention honors.

“We play in a tough conference,” said R-P head coach Matt Pallett. “There are a lot of very good golfers. Kristian proved once again that he is one of them. For the fourth straight year he has earned either All-Conference or All-Conference honorable mention. That is quite an accomplishment.”
