The Reeths-Puffer baseball team used two big innings on Saturday to post a nice 10-5 victory over Whitehall in non-conference action.
The Rockets scored three runs in the second inning and five in the fifth to take control.
Brendan Guikema earned the win on the mound for R-P. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over 2 1/3 innings, striking out two and walking three. Tyler Sykes pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one.

Sykes, Jaxon Lee and Jack Yonkman each collected two hits for Reeths-Puffer. Lee, Yonkman and Ethan Frang each drove in two runs.
R-P fell to Coopersville 7-2 in its second game of the day. The Broncos scored three runs in the first inning and led the rest of the way.
Frang and Sykes each had two hits for R-P. Brayden Meeuwenberg knocked in a run.
