Overall Reeths-Puffer finished 15th out of 16 teams in the tournament, which featured a lot of the top teams and players from around the state. Birmingham Brother Rice and Detroit Catholic Central tied for the championship.
R-P's Beckitt Johnson, who improved by 12 shots on Day 2.
Overall Kristian Brown led the Rockets with a two-day score of 164 and finished 39th in the individual tournament standings.
Vokel shot a 184, followed by Johnson (192), Beckett Mathes (199) and Carter Hekkema (210).
“It was a good two days of being with the team,” said R-P head coach Matt Pallett. “We did not have a great day one, but it was great to see the team come out and have a much better day two.
“Due to some guys not being able to play in the two-day event, Bentley Bennett earned the opportunity as the next person up. He has been steadily improving and he handled himself really well in his first big varsity event.
“The season is winding down and we are looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that are right in front of us.”
The Rockets will compete in Monday’s Tom Wilson Invitational at the Muskegon Country Club.
