Reeths-Puffer senior Jersi Bilek is piling up track and field medals in her final few weeks of varsity competition.
Bilek won the championship in the 800-meter run at Friday’s O-K Green Conference Championship Meet. She earned All-Conference honors for her effort.
She also won the title in the 800 at the recent Greater Muskegon Athletic Association meet.
Bilek finished with a winning time of 2:19.62, well ahead of Jenison’s Mary Guikema, who came in second place at 2:29.92.

Bilek was R-P’s only champion in the meet.
The Rockets finished in fifth place in the team standings with 43 points.
Caledonia took first place with 165.5 points, followed by Jenison (155.5), Byron Center (150.5), Mona Shores (96.5), R-P and Muskegon (16).
Several other Rockets turned in strong performances in their events.
Zaire Wright finished third in the shot put competition while Makayla Disselkoen took third in the high jump.
R-P’s 4x100 relay team of Jailynn Zuniga, Addison Mitchelson, Ivanna Koss and Wyn Waggoner also finished in third place.
The Rockets will compete in a Division 1 regional meet on Friday in Zeeland, with several athletes vying to qualify for the state finals.
