It was Senior Night for the Reeths-Puffer lacrosse team, and the guys who are nearing the end of their varsity careers put on an offensive show.
R-P seniors Cohen Beck, Cal Millis, Kaeden Benner, Blake Kiel and Bryce Shaver all scored in the Rockets’ easy 17-0 victory over East Kentwood.
Beck had another really big game, scoring four goals, including three consecutive tallies in the first quarter. Millis also scored twice for the Rockets.
The other four seniors scored single tallies.
R-P senior Cal Millis, who scored two goals.
Will Mallon also scored two goals for R-P while Zach Kiel, Owen Moore, Rohan Moyer, Jaxon Jewett, Hunter Adams and Ryan Weatherspoon added one apiece.
R-P led 5-0 after one quarter, 10-0 at halftime and 14-0 after three quarters.
The other seniors who were honored on Wednesday were Trent Plummer, Zach Kuerth, Waylon Kevern, Ben Kunnen and Dallyn Ellis.
“It was great getting to celebrate our 10 seniors this year,” said R-P head coach Josh Robidoux. “They've given a ton of effort in the last few weeks of their high school careers, and it's been a blast seeing their growth through the years.
“It was also great getting some guys some more firsts of the season tonight, between goals, assists, and face-off wins.”
The Rockets will host Holland Christian on Thursday in their final home game of the season.
