Top finishes were scarce for the Reeths-Puffer boys track team in an O-K Green conference meet last week against Caledonia, but a few Rockets took top spots in their events.

Mason Darke took first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.92. Ethan Rolewicz was tops in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.42.

Evan McHugh finished first in the 110-meter hurdles with a mark of 15.93, while Jamichael Williams won the high jump at 6 feet, 3 inches.

R-P’s Emcee McLaurin finished second in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. Other runner-ups for the Rockets were Rolewicz in the 300-meter hurdles, McHugh in the pole vault, Garrett Olejarczyk in the shot put and Jonathon Visscher in the long jump.

Taking third for the Rockets were London Rankin in the 200-meter dash, McLaurin in the 400-meter and Fred Woods in the long jump.

The Rockets fell in the team competition 95-32.

"We had a lot of personal bests and good performances, but Caledonia has a lot more depth throughout the 17 events," said R-P head coach Don Ketner. "Kids competed hard in all the events. Proud of them and their efforts!"
