The youngsters keep turning in positive results for the Reeths-Puffer boys golf team.
Either freshman Ian Vokal or sophomore Beckitt Johnson have been first or second on the Rockets’ scoring chart in all four events this season.
Vokal hit his highest mark so far on Monday, shooting a nine-hole score of 37 to lead the Rockets and take sixth place in the overall individual standings at the second O-K Green Conference jamboree of the season, played at Railside Golf Club.
Senior Kristian Brown shot a 39 and finished eighth in the individual standings.

Vokal and Brown both birdied one hole in their rounds.
R-P head coach Matt Pallett noted that both players performed very well, and might have finished even higher in the standings in a less challenging conference.
“Ian Vokal and Kristian Brown put solid rounds together tonight,” the coach said. “We play in a tough conference when a 37 and 39 take sixth and eighth place.”
Johnson and Carter Hekkema both shot a 47 for R-P.

The Rockets continued to struggle as a team, shooting a combined score of 171 and finishing in fifth place in the five-team field.
Mona Shores took first place with a 147 score, followed by Jenison (156), Caledonia (158) and Byron Center (168).
“As a team, we have yet to see four guys have a good round together,” Pallett said. “Once that starts occurring, then we will see ourselves move up in the league standings.”
