The Reeths-Puffer boys track team didn’t have a lot of luck on the scoreboard on Tuesday, but the Rockets were encouraged by some individual performances.
R-P fell to Mona Shores 89-47 in its first O-K Green conference meet of the season.

Finishing third for the Rockets were Roberts in the shot put, Dylan Shook in the 300 hurdles and Kyron Novak in the 1,600-meter run.
“We had some great performances in the field events, especially Evan McHugh in pole vault, Jamichael Williams in high jump, Hudson Roberts in discus and Jon Visscher in long jump,” said R-P head coach Don Ketner. “These are the types of performances we will need to score points at the big meets in May!
“Things didn't go our way on the track, but it looked like we had a week off for some people. However, we will continue to get better each meet and week.”
