After starting the week with a tough loss to rival Mona Shores, the Reeths-Puffer lacrosse team needed a good bounce-back opportunity before spring break.

The Rockets got that on Tuesday when they traveled to East Kentwood and blasted the host Falcons in an overwhelming manner, 21-0 in an O-K Conference Tier 3 contest.

It was a scoring-fest for the Rockets ,with 12 different players finding the net.

The parade was led by senior Cohen Beck, who broke loose for five goals and four assists. Blake Kiel added four goals for R-P while Rohan Moyer had four goals and two assists.

The scoring list also included Hunter Adams (2 goals); Garrison Niklasch, Dallyn Ellis and Braeden Monette (one goal, one assist); and Bryce Shaver, Waylan Kevern, Jax Sieplinga, Trent Plummer and Parker Samuels (one goal).

Goalie Jaxson Flora posted the shutout for the Rockets, who are now 2-4 on the season.

"It was great getting some guys their first goals and assists tonight,” said R-P head coach Josh Robidoux. “I appreciated that our guys weren't selfish and actively wanted to feed and look for their teammates, instead of letting ego take over.”

The Rockets will return to action on April 14 with a road game at Holland Christian.
