The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team broke a five-game losing streak by downing Jenison 53-43 on the road on Friday in O-K Green conference action.
The Rockets led 15-14 after one quarter, and the game was tied 26-26 at halftime.
The difference came in the second half, when R-P had a 12-6 advantage in the third quarter and a 14-9 edge in the fourth.

Ashlyn David led the Rockets with 15 points and five rebounds. Raquel Walker added 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Abrianna Do also had a nice game, scoring nine points and snagging 12 rebounds.
“I am proud of the Reeths-Puffer Lady Rockets for a balanced team effort tonight,” said R-P head coach Rodney Walker. “Overall it was a collective performance, with contributions across the lineup that kept our tempo up and our defense as the steady backbone of the win.”
Reeths-Puffer is now 6-6 overall on the season and 1-3 in conference play.
The Rockets will host Bryon Center on Tuesday.
