The Reeths-Puffer boys bowling team came up short on Wednesday in a conference match with Mona Shores, falling 22-8.
The Rockets got off to a rough start, losing both baker games, 170-161 and 209-204, as well as the baker bonus points, and fell behind 10-0.
R-P rallied in the first regular game, winning by a tight score of 969-963 and earning four points. Carter Hekkema and Karsen Boeskool each won their head-to-head matchups, giving the Rockets two more points.

The match got away in the second regular game, which Mona Shores won 1,007-877. The Sailors also had a 3-2 point edge in the head-to-head matchups, and secured the two bonus points for the combined regular game pin total.
Second game winners for R-P were Ryleigh Beebe, who rolled a team-high 231 game, and Hekkema.
The Rockets are now 4-3 overall on the season and 2-2 in the O-K Green conference standings.
