R-P lost its third straight game and fell to 5-4 overall on the season and 0-1 in conference play. Muskegon improved to 7-1.
“We played a strong first half, and I’m proud of how we came out and executed,” said R-P head coach Rodney Walker. “In the second half Muskegon opened things up with their three-point shooting, but we did a solid job of disrupting what they wanted to do and stayed competitive throughout.

“I’m encouraged by how our young ladies grew up tonight, regardless of the final score. We played to the end and battled until the final buzzer.”
