The victory was the fourth in a row for R-P, and its fifth straight without a defeat. The hot streak comes on the heels of a three-game losing streak, which is a pretty strong sign that the Rockets are figuring things out.

“Four straight wins, earned the right way,” said R-P head coach Bill Zalba, whose team is now 5-3-1. “We’re building something, one game at a time. I am proud of the group. Four in a row is the result of commitment, discipline and playing for each other.”

The Rockets led 1-0 after one period, thanks to a goal by Cuti with 3:17 left on the clock.

Rohan Moyer, Hayden Taylor and Kaeden Benner has assists for R-P.

The Rockets had a 32-25 advantage in shots on goal. R-P freshman goalie Bear VanDyke stopped 23 shots in another strong effort.
