The Reeths-Puffer girls golf team is starting to develop some/ depth to its lineup, which will really come in handy next season, when the top three players are likely to return.

The Rockets have been led this year by junior standout Sophia McCollum, but two fellow juniors, Olivia Ambler and Ella Voorhies, have shown flashes of giving R-P a powerful top three.

Ambler took her biggest step in that direction on Tuesday, shooting a nine-hole score of 39 and tying McCollum for second place in the individual standings at the final O-K Green conference jamboree of the season at The Meadows in Allendale.

It was the best nine-hole score of Ambler’s varsity career.
