Andrew Eilers, Zach Sampson, Kaden Vanderlaan and Matthew Hansen each had one assist.

R-P goalkeepers Liam Copenhaver and Caden Macomber worked together to post the shutouts.

The Rockets will complete the tournament on Saturday by playing three more shortened games, all of which count in their official record.

“The boys played really well, with a ton of confidence,” said R-P head coach Kody Harrell. “They had great speed and looked in midseason form, due to the great attendance we’ve had (at team workouts) all summer.

“I am proud of the boys’ commitment this summer, and they got to see some early success from their hard work, but we know there’s a lot more to prove and we’re hungry, humble and excited to go compete and see what we can do this year.”
