The Reeths-Puffer boys golf team traveled north to play in the Katke Classic tournament at Ferris State University on Friday and Saturday.
The Rockets finished 14th out of 21 teams in the 36-hole event.
R-P shot a 360 on the first day of the tournament. Kristian Brown shot an 81 for the Rockets, followed by Kye Grant and Ayden Hartzell (92), Aiden Waggoner (93), Kaeden Benner (96) and Beckitt Johnson (103).

The Rockts shot a 358 in cold and rainy conditions on the second day. Brownh shot an 82, followed by Waggoner (88), Tristan Baker (93), Hartzell (95), Benner and Grant (97).
Brown finished 22nd in the individual tournament standings with a combined score of 165.
“The team had to battle the elements both days," said R-P head coach Matt Pallett. "Conditions were not ideal for golf. Although we did not have our best golf, the team persevered in the tough conditions.”
The Rockets will prepare for regionals by competing in the Tom Wilson Invitational, hosted by Mona Shores, at the Muskegon Country Club on Monday.
