The Rockets were outscored 5-1 in the third quarter. Braeden Monette scored R-P's goal midway through the quarter.
The Huskies scored the only three goals of the fourth quarter.
Reeths-Puffer, which will have a lot of players eligible to return next year after a learning season, finished with a 4-14 record.
"We started out extremely slow today with some sloppy passing on our transition to offense," said R-P Coach Josh Robidoux. "Unfortunately that put a lot of pressure on our defense and things started to slip early for us.
"Even though it's a bummer that our season has come to a close, I'm incredibly proud of the growth we saw out of this group of guys throughout the season, and the foundation they set for future teams in our program to continue developing.
"Seeing one of our freshmen, Gabe Feirick, and one of our sophomores, Braeden Monette, score goals today shows that in future seasons, they're ready to rise to the occasion."
